Shell Bowls

These are sculptural bowls using a twisting technique to represent shell bowls and Sea life in nature.
These vessels are given a sculptural side to them by asking questions of the audience. Making vessels that were non-functional by the design did this by the way they were organic and sea life reasoned, thus asking the viewer questions like “what is its place in the home?” “Is it or is it not a functional vessel?” and “for what reason was it made?” They were primarily objects of curiosity that were beautiful in form and colour.
